Lou and I are also busy on the next MED release and the writing hasn’t stopped. We have enough material for 5 albums so I’m ready for the writers block to start…..
About the Song
Take Your Toys Away originated from a Messenger conversation with my friend Nathan who sent through some ideas he had recorded on his phone, one of them stuck with me and I imported it into Logic and built the track around it, if you listen carefully you can actually hear Nathan pressing play one whatever Groovebox he was using at the time at the start of the loop, this track is my first foray into a more laidback lofi style which I've dabbled with before but embracing a bit more as a nice change of pace to the Indie/Electronica styles of normal Most Epic Dream, let me know what you think.
